Pinnacle Systems CinéWave 2.1/HD
Pinnacle Systems CinéWave 2.1/RT A very fast drive system is required to take full advantage of multiple streams of
real time effects with the Cinewave RT. We tested using the Rorke Data 8 bay
MaxArray tower with (8) 36 GB ATLAS 10K II Ultra 160 drives. The array was
connected to a dual channel Atto UL3D SCSI host adapter and all 8 drives
were striped RAID 0 using Atto Express RAID v2.7. You may encounter occasional loop
playback issues with 2.1. Matrox RT Mac Formac Studio Sony DVMC-DA2
(convertisseur analogique DV) If your device is only equipped with the LANC device control connection, LANC will
not transmit timecode to Final Cut Pro. However, you may use the media converter
functions to convert video for transmit over FireWire. Device control will be
available when using LANC however, timecode will be omitted preventing usage of
such functions as, Batch Capture, and Capture Clip. These functions require a
timecode reference to operate.
