Symptoms
Final Cut Studio applications may exhibit unexpected behaviors when used on a Mac Pro that has more than one graphics card.
Unexpected behaviors may include rendering issues, Digital Cinema Desktop display issues, and window display issues.
Products Affected
Color, Motion, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Studio
Resolution
Use Final Cut Studio on a Mac Pro with only one or two computer displays, both connected to a single graphics card. A video display monitor may also be connected to a PCIe video interface.
Although it is possible to add more than one graphics card and three or more displays to a Mac Pro configuration, this is not a recommended configuration for a Final Cut Studio workstation.
