Products affected
? Logic Pro 8
? Apogee audio hardware
Solution
This is a known issue when Apogee audio hardware such as the Symphony or Ensemble is in use. Here's a work-around:
1. Start Logic Pro, and press and hold the Control key immediately after the application starts to open.
2. When the "Launch the Core Audio driver?" dialog appears, click No.
3. When Logic launches, select the control surface(s) in the setup window that appears. If this window does not appear, choose Logic Pro > Preferences > Control Surfaces > Setup to open it.
4. Choose Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio and click the Devices tab. On the Core Audio page, assign the Apogee driver and click Apply Changes.
